business role in Admin → People

What everybody in the company is meant to be doing today, where the business stands, and — by the close — what actually moved. For one person, or for everybody.

What to do first

If the page says it is for the head of the business, nobody holds that role yet. An org admin gives it in Admin → People: tick CEO / Head of business under the person's job title and press Save changes. The page then appears in their sidebar under Work. It carries every HR/Admin permission, and more than one person can hold it.

Two readings of one day

At the top right, Morning plan and What moved. The page opens on the plan before three in the afternoon and on what moved after, and either is one press away at any time.

  • Morning plan — each person's plate for today: tasks due or already late, approvals sent to them, leads whose next action is today, milestones and reviews they owe. Late work is listed first.
  • What moved — what each person actually did today: tasks and milestones completed, key results updated, requests decided, payments sent, instalments collected, deals won and leads worked, reviews and feedback submitted.

Nothing on this page is typed in. Every line is read from the module that holds it, so it is only as current as those records.

Where the business stands

Across the top:

  • Objectives — average progress this morning, taken from the nightly snapshot, and at the close how far it moved since.
  • Revenue — closed to date and collected, and at the close what was won and collected today.
  • Work — due today and already late, and at the close how many tasks were completed.
  • Reviews — how far through the active review cycle the company is, or, when no cycle is running, the money decided and sent today.

People

People are grouped by level — Executive, Senior management, Middle management, Team member — most senior first. A card says whether the person manages anybody (Manager · 3 means three people report to them) or is a Team member, and who they report to.

Narrow the list with Everyone / Managers / Team members and by department. Choose a person from the picker to see their plan and what moved, side by side.

Earlier days

‹ Earlier and Later › move a day at a time, as far back as two months. The day is Lagos time: something done at half past midnight belongs to the new day.

How it connects

  • The plan is the same queue each person sees in My Work.
  • A manager reads the same page for their own people under Insights → Your team's day.
  • Objective progress comes from Goals, revenue from Finance, payments from Procurement.

Common questions

Somebody did a lot today and their card says nothing moved. The page reads records, not effort. A call logged on a lead, a task ticked, a key result updated — those move. Work done without touching a record does not show.

Can another executive see this? No. It is for the head of the business only. Managers have their team's day under Insights.
